| Elected Leadership | | | An elected Central Executive serves the NWTTA membership. - NWT-wide elections are held in March for:
- President (2-year term)
- Vice-President (2-year term)
- Secretary Treasurer (2-year term)
- Member-at-Large (2-year term)
- One additional position elected by Central Executive:
- Regional Presidents' Representative (1-year term)
- Central Executive members meet four or more times a year in Yellowknife to conduct the affairs of the Association. Central Council also hires Central Office staff to carry on the day-to-day functions of the Association.
Elected Regional Executives serve 1-year terms in each of the eight NWTTA regions to provide members with regional representation. - Representatives from each Regional Executive meet early in the school year in Yellowknife. This meeting provides for Regional Presidents’ orientation on their roles and responsibilities, and discussions on current global, national, territorial and local issues in education.
