Although it is generally expected that all designated employees (NWTTA, YCS EAs etc…) will attend "Our Students, Our North, Our Success" for three days of Professional Development with your peers, there may be situations where attendance is not possible.
As these PD days are paid days, we need to ensure that all employees who cannot attend, proceed with the process set out for non-attendance agreed upon by all DECs and the two Yellowknife school districts.
This form, when submitted, will be forwarded to your regional or district PD committee for approval so that there is an approved record of your alternative PD plans on file.
I cannot attend due to: Childcare Issues Medical Reasons Other Reasons
Please outline your alternative PD plan for the days of the conference and an additional travel day (for some regions).
